Ok. Who remembers shotgun shells for $1.50 a box at Western Auto? Box of 22 50 cents.

Ahh, the good old days are long gone, I sure miss them. I dont know if it'll happen or not but hopefully somebody will have a 'sale' a week or so before the season opens. Price wont be that different than what Im see yall post on here though. I'll report back if I do see anything good.

Check out Gman Sport online. I just ordered 1 1/8 oz 3 1/4 dram Fiocchi for $10.46 per box out the door total. Shipping was high but no tax was charged to come to that figure. Mine arrived with no problems in about 4 days.

Went by Academy on Hwy 150 after work yesterday. Saw some 12 gauge Monarchs that I'd never seen there before, its the green label listed as heavy dove and they have 1&1/8 oz of #7.5 shot so I picked up a case of those just for the heck of it to try. They were $114.00 and change out the door and if you buy a case of shotshells (10 or more boxes) you get $5.00 off. **Now here is something I want yall to pay attention to; the Monarchs I usually buy with the orange label, the wing and clay hi vel #7.5 shot now only has 7/8 oz of shot instead of 1 oz. What kind of Tomfoolery is this? I looked at my couple cases stash this morning before heading to work and the cases I have bought the last couple of years show all are listed as 1 oz of shot. Bidenomics maybe? You must have bought 20ga if you got them in 7/8 oz. Below is a link for the 12ga - 7.5 - 1 oz https://www.academy.com/p/monarch-wing-clay-12-gauge-1-oz-shotshells-25-rounds
I had much rather be tried by twelve than carried to my grave by six!!!!

I double looked.I had never seen these before. The 20 gauge were on on side of a big roll around cart and 12's were on the other, right in front of the cash register counter I didnt purchase any of those but did get a case of the 1 and 1/8 oz 12's. Good luck on opening day !!

I haven't dove hunted in a few years but going Sat.....picked up a few boxes of shells at Academy last week....Rem Heavy Dove (20g) was $12/box. Seems like a few years ago they were like $8-9/box.

I got lucky this year. Was about to order a case of 16ga and decided to go check inventory. Found a whole case of Remington heavy dove I forgot I had. I almost did that one time with those heavy metal duck shells. I had forgot I had a couple of cases in the bottom of the gun cabinet. I mean I almost remembered 🤣

It's overkill IMO for dove but the price is within reason for what it is actually. He's buying damn near turkey loads...lol
