I plan on a suppresser buy in the near future and don’t want to drop money for each specific caliber. What the recommendation for a 17 to 300 win mag? I’ve been looking at silencer co

Don’t shoot rimfire through a center fire can period. Spend the money and buy a rimfire can and a centerfire. That being said, I have thoroughly enjoyed my silencerco stuff, the omega 30 is a great all around centerfire can

Silencerco Hybrid 46 is very versatile. We have 2, and have shot them from 22-250 up to 45/70. Effective on both, and everything in between. The tailcap changes from QD to direct thread, and you can buy a ton of endcap sizes.

For a rimfire suppressor, the Dead Air Mask is the best I have tried.

If you want really lightweight and aren't concerned about the over 30 cal stuff, then the Dead Air Nomad Ti would be a great choice.

I like the Nomad 30 from Deadair, of course I am biased. The Mask for rimfire is the best can i have shot.

I shot the Nomad 30 the Nomad 30 TI XC and The Nomad 30 TIL XC this week. The steel can sounds great. The TI give a little higher pitch. The LTI: and the Steel Nomad are really close in sound.

Look at the Deadair Sandman S I like the QD mount better than the Omega. and to me it’s a little quieter as well.

2 Votes for the Sandman. The Q.D. is a great design.

I’m still a fan of my thunderbeast ultra 9

If you get a .30 cal suppressor, you can shoot any caliber below as long as you’re not exceeding pressure.
Example, you can still effectively shoot 5.56 out of a 300 winmag rated suppressor but you can’t shoot 300WSM out of one rated for .308WIN.

Whatever you choose, make sure it’s light. I have a full-auto rated one that weighs 2x my thunderbeast and I don’t use it anymore due to that extra weight. You’ll feel every extra ounce hanging off the end.

No complaints about my Hybrid, probably had 6 years or so, still going to get me a dedicated 30cal one though

Liberty mystic X is a great can and covers a multitude of calibers. You can shoot rimfire through it as well as it can be taken apart to be cleaned.

Got the omega 30 and the hybrid 46. No complaints out of either.

Curious if any of the Omega300 shooters have had any range/field time with the Thunderbeast Ultra 5/7? I’ve heard some really good feedback from a buddy and that’s the direction I was leaning. The size and weight of that Ultra5 sure are appealing.

As far as hunting, if it doesn’t affect accuracy, id buy the shortest/lightest that I could find. None of them are “silent”. I don’t know which one that is but I’d do my research. I do know you can blow the end of a silencerco off due to idiocy, and they’ll send you a brand new one. So that stands for a lot.
