You will have to send that to someone who can X-ray it to see if it has any micro-cracks A borescope won’t do this
When I need expert advice I tend to talk to myself The older I get the better I used to be

I might start out getting involved in black powder matches just to start making connections with guys who are neck deep into the subject already. From there, they may know of qualified people in their world. https://www.brocksgap.com/matches-bpcrs/black-powder-cartridge-rifle-silhouette/I would also look at trying to understand reduced loads and aspects of using them safety. Combined with a qualified inspection, you may could adopt a mindset of “I’ve already proof tested this thing at full load … now I’ll shoot on a limited basis towards minimum loads” in hopes of not propagating existing cracks.
