I like snow. Seems like I always have good luck in the snow. The deeper it gets the better the hunting.

Fog and a lite drizzle.

Life is a journey. Make sure and bring plenty of Beer.

My luck has been so bad lately, it could be raining pussies and I'd catch one with a dick broke off in it.

For woods hunting the last few hours before a front. Or second day after, 25 degrees at daylight, warming to 40 miday. Light N to MW wind, sunny or partially cloudy, a day when all critters are moving.

The absolute best is late pm , cold front coming in,drizzling rain tuning to snow. That's when magic happens.

I like mornings where it gets down to about 25 with a hard frost......Deer movement is very predictable on those mornings. They'll just about always get out and feed for a little while right as the frost burns off......somewhere around 8:30 - 9:30

You are correct, Sir. They feed well in woods and very low pressured plots on those mornings. I've slept late, hit the woods bout the time the frost burns off, then stay till dark many times.

I have killed a many once the frost starts to burn off that time of morning, sometimes I know they want move until later, but still I am in my stand at day break, just something about being on stand and the anticipation early in the morning......

A Cool, and Cloudy evening with a West or North West wind. I’ve killed most of my better bucks under those conditions.

I’ve always heard that, but hasn’t been the case for me. I see them move more first thing that morning. Woods and fields, in my experience.
