Plant ryegrass. Aldeer says deer don't eat it. Aldeer is wrong. Plant that and sit on the roads. You can post pictures of dead deer with ryegrass in their mouth.

That would be fine through winter, but once it warms up there will be no seed for spring. Need to plant a mix to get you through winter and spring.
