Back several years ago I was on a hot gobbler that was screaming at everything but hadnt come off roost yet I decided to slip in a bit closer when this thing comes gliding through the woods and when it did I completely forgot about the turkey and everything else except what I was seeing This thing was 8'-10' tall and about 3'-4' in diameter from top to bottom It was translucent like Saran Wrap and was moving through the flat weaving its way through the trees I couldnt tell if it was walking or floating but its movement was smooth and deliberate It wasnt a foggy morning or rainy The sun was up and it was a clear day
When I need expert advice I tend to talk to myself The older I get the better I used to be

The most unexplainable thing I have seen while hunting had to do with me and a Buck I shot. I heard it grunting in the thick pines. Buck came out of thick pines in a hurried walk. I seen it was big enough to shoot. Buck got behind me and I was about 25 feet up in a tree climber. I had about a 30 yard shot right down middle of back was the only shot I had. I shot and the buck went down and was was on his side kicking and what looked to be dieing. After about 15 seconds or so of watching Buck on ground and waiting on Him to stop moving, all of a sudden the Buck jumps up and hops off. I look for probably 2 hours for this buck and there was zero sign that I had hit and wounded this buck. No hair and no blood. Zero sign of a wounded deer even though the buck was on ground kicking violently and what I thought was dieing. I will never get over this happening. It was an unbelievable sight. I was not happy to say the least. Since then I don’t hesitate to put another round or to in a down deer. Lesson learned.

Emu's were common in the woods around here for a while. When the get rich quick. Pyramid collapsed people turned them loose. PS roping one ain't easy.

I shot a nice eight pointer at 250 yards on a power line. He was broadside , facing to the left as I fired my 7mmRM. Down he went. When I got to him, he had an entrance hole on the right side. exit hole on left side. DamnifinIknow.
I've spent most of the money I've made in my lifetime on hunting and fishing. The rest I just wasted.....

Hell this one time walking back from a shooting house in Choctaw County in Turnertown hunting club (probably 25 years ago) there was this Big Ol' Gal (she was probably late 20s early 30s) was in the car with this feller, and i had a brief conversation with 'em, and he told me ifn i was quiet, i might could get some from that Ol' Gal Too!
Do not regret growing older, it's a privilege denied to many!

Had 4 or 5 mature dogs burning a coon up in a huge bottom. We were listening from a hill and all of sudden all of the dogs shut up and came back and got under the truck. It was pretty spooky A buddy of mine shot a doe with his bow. When he found it she was covered with dirt and leaves. He started to pull her out but decided to get help. When we came back she had been covered back up

I put a RamCat through him too.On the scared coon dogs, I got nothing.

Black Panther in Maplesville! My FIL saw it too I saw one too hunting my in laws place in Valley Grande. It walked right under my climber and laid down for a couple minutes then walked off. When I get to that upper room I’m going to ask Jesus what it was.
