Exactly, WKU would get bushwhacked by any the bottom feeders of the SEC. But Great first Start, Ryan Williams could very well end up being the greatest receiver to come through Bama. And that speaks volumes! The biggest question is will this defense be able to withstand the likes of Georgia, Texas? While Milroe has taken up where he left off and will be make plays, One of the most impressive things to me was Ty Simpson, that guy is the real deal. If he doesnt transfer, he will be a great one.

Thorne actually looks better than Milroe passing wise.

Did He now? I am not sure how much better You can get when Milroe threw 9 passes and completed 7 passes and 3 of those passes were Touchdowns. I did not look at Thorne’s stats but it safe to say Milroe had a good day on the field with a 98.7 QBR rating even though these opening games for most of the SEC teams were against Powderpuff teams.

Clemson held Georgia to 6 points in the first half. Granted it was the first game of the year so there's that. But I am more worried about Texas than Georgia. I'm not saying Bama can beat either one. I'm just saying Texas looks to be a better team.

I switched back and forth between the 2 games and just adding what I saw from an unbiased standpoint. Milroe is a good quarterback but receivers shouldn't have to slow down to get his passes. Either way it was a good start for both but neither played anybody challenging.

Exactly. And no matter how good they do, some will be looking ahead at their impending doom. Sad way to live life.

For Milroe to have a shot at the heisman, Bama has to go undefeated till voting time. He's got to beat Beck and Ewers with a good performance.

I saw a sloppy game, much to clean up but the talent is certainly there.

Texas, Georgia, Bama, ole Miss looked impressive. Ohio State just doesn't look very well coached to me. They won big but struggled with mistakes. Oklahoma looks good too. Michigan looked like crap, not the same when you haven't stolen your opponents signals and know what play is coming. Boy Clemson's offense still sucks

It's funny how a new offense / coach can bring in a lot of enthusiasm and swag to.a team that's already stacked . You can't replace a Saban, but I think Bama will be just fine this year. The real test will be in 1 or 2 more years. I think Deboer will do well.

It was different not seeing the coach have screaming fit the whole game. 😂

There is a reason Saban had those fits. Most of them are planned. Most of them happen when the game wasn't providing pressure. If the game doesn't provide pressure then he creates it. He creates it at practice too. He was trying to get his players used to performing at a high level when there is pressure.

Deboer is trying to create the illusion that there is no pressure. So his guys will play loose.

Two different coaching styles. I identify with Saban's a lot more.

Texas is going to get their virginity taken like a thief in the night by Georgia. I think Bama Georgia the 28th is going to be the game
