I didn’t read through all the replies but there is enough atta boys to respond. The irony and double standard is that y’all parade around here talking about how screwed up liberal ideals are i.e. transgenders, feminisms, modernism, getting body parts chopped off, destroying their reproductive organs, abortions, etc and then sit over here and applaud and encourage vasectomies. Y’all are no better. Guess what, the modernists want you to get the snip, to normalize the snip, remove procreation from sex, remove sex from within marriage, distort what is natural and good. Better change your pronouns while you’re at it. And before you say you already have 4-6 kids, doesn’t matter, the issue remains.

Equating something that prevents pregnancies to changing genders and abortions is about as far of a stretch as you can make. If you have ever used a condom, your wife has taken birth control, or even if you've "pulled out", you are just as guilty of your own rational as anyone who has been "snipped". That's just plumb crazy talk. I would accuse you of being Amish but you're using a computer. Maybe you're Catholic???

The point is not that the action is equivalent in every respect, that isn’t what I said. It is that the liberal feminist post-modernist ideals that encourage things like changing genders, chopping parts off, abortions, less kids etc. are the same ideals pushing for the castration of men. One and the same. Doesn’t matter if you say you have pure intentions get it for birth control or to save money on kids the end result is the same, and they thank you for it.

Yeah I don't get the rationale there either. I got snipped so that I can enjoy marital relations with my wife and that we can continue to financially provide for our two children without having more mouths to feed. Hell if it wasn't for birth control or the snip I'd have 7-8 kids and be poor as dirt.

The snip isn't castration. We still have our "boys" that serve their function, the plumbing for the swimmers is just blocked off. And I can assure you, it doesn't take the sex out of marriage. If anything, it increases it. So no, the ideals are far from one in the same.
