Father is a POS but have yall not read anything about the mother another POS!. they have two other kids, pray they get some help! they would fight and lock the kids out in the yard!! how can you not expect them not to be messed up! Sure a kid might have some issues if their parents locked them outside while fighting, but that don't mean they are liable for their kid murdering someone. At 14 you know what's allowed and what's not allowed. I don't like charging the parents with murder. Maybe some form of a lessor charge. Every situation could be so different. I know I wouldn't have allowed the kid to have access to a gun with his past, but parents want to believe in their kids. I'm sure he had convinced his dad that the prior threats were meaningless and blown out of proportion. And it's easy as a parent to believe your kid when they tell you stuff. Not everyone is as skeptical of their kids as I am lol. What if a kid had been caught drinking before, and a year later his parents buy him a car and he gets drunk and kills someone? Charge the parents with murder? Or to compare it with this case, he wasn't even caught drinking before. He just talked about it or threatened to get drunk and drive a car?
