First sit of the season. Hasn’t gone as planned but we’re here and bumped some coming in so are in them just not ideal setups.
Would walk over a naked woman to get to a gobblin turkey!

Well nothing went right this morning from the start. When we got to where we planned to hunt at 6:50 after over sleeping and missing several turns someone was parked on the side we planned to hunt. Stephen wanted to go on past where we hunted before and try blind. We bumped multiple deer getting to our eventual spots and I figured we would waste a morning then scout. After a little over a hr my phone started vibrating and Stephen immediately said I shot a good 9pt and he’s broke down 25 yds away. I climbed down and by the time I got there he was out of his stand standing at the edge of the bluff. He climbed down he’s impatient and the deer crawled off a 20’ rock bluff and Stephen shot him to get another arrow in him. He was alive still when I got there so I finished him off. Well at that point we had to figure out how to get him up that bluff and almost a mile. We went to shed clothes bows and stands and were going to go quarter him up. When we got to the parking area the other guys ended up coming out. After talking a while they said they would help and we went back to get him out. We had hell getting him up that hill to the firebreak and their game cart. A huge shout out to the Yoders they saved us a ton of time and hassle. He’s no giant for Kentucky but Stephens first bow buck and first full velvet buck.
