The last two seasons I’ve used WMS Alabama blend. Very good results 2 years ago, bucks hammered it. Last year, wasn’t near as productive. I may go back with it but curious to any other blends that others have had good results with. Tia

I have had best luck with Whitetail Institute Imperial Clover. Deer love it. I am fixing to replant it. Live in Limestone County.

You can blend your own usually cheaper. We can mix 40% oats, 30% wheat, 30% elbon rye and 2 lbs crimson clover for about $40 for a 100 lbs. used to add a couple of lbs of purple top turnips until they stopped making due to a fungus (maybe). Deer like it . Turkeys seem to really like the rye.

I use deer magnet...it's one bag an acre vs two bags with bama blend and lasts through the summer. I would do a bag an acre and add a half a bag of triticale as you will come out way cheaper and it's awesome stuff

Im going with 50-50 mix of wheat and Oats. Drag to cover then top sow Durano clover. Wheat I buy in a 55gal drum for $35. Oats for 100lbs was about $30 and about $37 for 6lbs of clover. This is for 3 small plots at home.
