What would make you seriously look at purchasing a GMC or Chevrolet truck again? Looks like they have 10-15,000 off. I’m seeing 4 door 4x4 for 43-45,000. I think they have the best looking trucks right now, but I’d need 10 year 100,000 BTB warranty I think. Those are the turbo 4 cylinder engines. Not the v8. Or at least that’s what I been seeing. I drive a new body style Chevy with the 5.3 and love it. Zero problems. But I don’t drive it much. Maybe put 5-7 thousand miles a year on it.

I just picked up two 2024 2500hd duramaxs. I’m convinced there isn’t a great diesel truck, so decided to go with the most comfortable this time around. That's a really good way to look at it.

I’ve got a 2023 gmc with 3.0. Had a transmission coolant line bust at 7500 miles. No other issues and have around 14,000 miles now. Had a 2014 gmc before with the 6 speed and it shifted hard from the day I bought it. It was a piece of junk. Do love how they look and ride. But I think the 10 speed transmission is the same as ford. Only time will tell on the transmission but do love the baby diesel. Great mileage even with a leveling kit and 35s My 2020 3.0 Duramax had 125K+ miles on it when I traded it in for my 2023 3.0 Duramax which now is just shy of 40K miles. The 20 model did have a couple of issues not related to the transmission that were repaired under warranty. My 23 model has had zero issues so far.

Said it once before, it’s early on but the Colorado I have is great (so far).
If you can get by with a mid size, check it out. Until it runs the battery down trying to update the operating system.

I’ve been kinda wanting a smaller (“mid-size”) truck and really like the looks of the newer Canyons/Colorado’s, but I just don’t trust them. I think they look better that any of the others. Frontier is probably the best buy in that category, but I just can’t get excited about them. I don’t love the looks of the new Tacomas and heard lots of negative reviews on comfort
In other words, the only one I’d have is the one I trust the least…..so I’m not doing anything anytime soon
A friend of mine bought a Ford Maverick Hybrid. He gets like 40 MPG. He likes it Its the crewcab.
I love my country, but don't trust my government.
