Youtube is your answer. It’s a process and watching a video better than someone explaining. snakebit is the resident blackstone expert and has several videos on here. Wish he would post more often.

Get it good and hot.
Rub in a layer of oil. (I use vegetable oil)
Let it burn in until it slows down smoking. (Maybe 10 minutes)
Repeat steps 2 and 3 until you have 4-5 layers.
Then cook something good and greasy like bacon.
