I'm sure some of yall got decent rain but the dry slot in the storm 'bout hit Alabama dead center. I'm well under 1/2" of rain and it ain't looking good for a whole lot more at this point.

Yeah, I'm in Tuscaloosa County and while it seems to have rained off and on since about 9pm last night, I don't think it ever rained especially heavy. Very light, almost a "sprinkle" most of the time

The official total here so far, with precise calibrated measuring devices, is - way too much freaking rain. That can be verified.

Similiar story here. Lots of sprinkles, little rain.

Looking like Georgia is going to get all of our precip. We get to keep the wind...

I'm near Slocomb and we got 1 1/4 inches as of yesterday afternoon. It's been raining pretty much all morning.

That's us in western 52. Morgan county sheriff's office posted a traffic alert about being cautious from 3-6" of rain thru saturday and 7-10" locally. I just ain't seeing it unless the eye parks over us the next couple days

SE Marshall county has had a little. Not wet under parked vehicles yet. I’m thankful for every drop and praying for much more. We’re as dry as we’ve been in many, many years. Quite a few brown leafed trees around and several without leaves at all. That doesn’t bode well for the longevity of those trees.

If my people, who are called by my name, will humble themselves and pray and seek my face and turn from their wicked ways, then will I hear from heaven and will forgive their sin and will heal their land. 2 Chronicles 7:14

Very little in Shelby County. More like a light rain on/off.

Update....it's raining what I'd call "moderately hard" in Northport and has been, nonstop, for a couple hours now.

Up to .77 here. It's at least enough to say it really rained but that 2-4" sure would be nice. There is a good band biulding to the West. Maybe some of us can get in on that.
