Does anyone dove hunt through both seasons? I can remember when there used to be dove shoots every Saturday during both seasons. Does anyone do this any more?

There’s a few guys around here who shoot late season. They say there’s no comparison between the two seasons, late season the birds are thick and won’t leave. I haven’t personally fixed a field for late season.

Short hunt but the hottest I ever had on my place was in November. I got my millet in too early, cut and burned it. We had a wet warm fall and it seeded back out. Late frost that year killed the millet that had reseeded so I cut it again. Cold as all get out thanksgiving week but me and 2 other coaches nearly melted some barrels for about 3hrs on morning.
Its not the will to win but the will to prepare to win!
