Nothing unusual. Our county commision has their meetings recorded. They do this for transparency, to keep the public informed. If anything contraversal is to be talked about, theyll either not record it or cut off the audio. The govt in this country is corrupt from the top to the bottom. However, in county and city elections, i believe it is still possible to vote out corruption, you just have to find a candidate with morals and integrity to run and replace them.

Governors should have say on when, where and how many of anyone moves into a state that weren't born in the US. Period. That should be HIGHLY regulated. Local cities aren't equipped or prepared to deal with that mess.
If a blue state wants those troubles, welcome to them. If a red state doesn't, the feds shouldn't be importing them. Period. Not one US penny should be spent housing any immigrant. Hell, not one penny should be spent housing anyone for that matter.
I'd be on board with giving veterans and seniors living allowances before a penny of welfare or handouts to migrants.
Character is not developed in moments of temptation and trial. That is when it is intended to be used.
