Only 4 penalties today. Much better.

I don’t anticipate them shutting out anyone else for sure. They’re not bad, but they’re not top-tier either

They dont have to be explosive against Ga, they have to have one more point on the board than Ga has when the clock hits zero, thats all.

Convert on third down. Stay on the field and get points. Wisconsin had three consecutive 3 and outs in the third quarter on our offense. Gotta keep the ball moving and keep momentum.

Didnt see it - had to work - big blow out and badger usually has a decent team! Good win - impressive beat down by seeing large margin win

Bama needs to stop the fun and gun. It works. Run the ball and kill clock time. Defense is on the field way too long.

3 consecutive 3 and outs? All in the 3rd quarter? I went back and looked at the stats, Bama did have 3- 3 and outs. 2 in the first half, 1 in the second half. There were touchdowns before and after each 3 and out. 3 and outs could be a problem for offenses that throw the ball downfield but it seemed to be a non issue today. Unless the ESPN play by play stats are wrong. But I dont remember 3 consecutive 3 and outs by the offense.

12 possessions, 5 punts, 6 TDs, 1 missed field goal. Pretty good possessions over all I think.

For the season they are 50% on 3rd down as a team. Ranked 22nd out of 132. Last year they were 43% as a team on 3rd down conversion.

Wisconsin had the ball ten minutes longer than Bama did. Against equally talented opponents, this could be an issue.

Maybe, but keep in mind this is a quick hitting offense. TOP isn't nearly as important when your offense scores in 2 plays. I'm not saying you are wrong, it could very well indicate an issue that might arise against a better opponent, but it could also be a non factor. This offense is definitely not a possession type offense. They are going to have some 3 and outs, and they are going to have some 3 play TD drives, and they are going to have some sustained drives.

Like I said in another post, Georgia will be a better indicator of how explosive Bama is offensively. I think they will run the ball against Georgia a good bit though.
