There are no Christian Democrats.. is an idiotic statement. My grandfather was a strong Democrat, had pictures of himself and Carter. Supported Bill Clinton. He also served as an elder in the Church of Christ, one of the most godly man I have known in my life.

Yea, I'm going to have to disagree. If your father supported the Democrats today he would be supporting the destruction of our Country and moral values. The Church of Christ should invited him to sit in the pew and listen, nothing further. He should have never be in Leadership in any way.

That doesn't happen and that is one of the main reasons Western ideology and society is crumbling. And one of the major problems with Christianity right now. There are no rocks it's all sand. We are founded on Christian Values. Erode that and your erode the foundation of our entire belief system.

How you can support the Democrat ideology while calling yourself a Christian is lost on me at this point. It should be on everyone else It isn't because Christians have been trained to accept losing as long as they do it with a smile and kindness.

There are plenty of Christian Democrats. However, there are very few Democrat Christians (or at least should be).
Question is really this. Which one is our adjective?
Do we identify as political (D, R, etc) first and foremost....focus is on political issues...with our Christianity as merely a descriptor of how we think and vote?
Or do we identify first and foremost as a Christian l...focus on Christ and living out the Gospel message...with or political ideology as merely a descriptor of how we think and vote?

The modern Democratic Platform is not congruent with core Christ centered values. Period.
