I can tell you the point type for the bottom one is a Bolen Bevel. It would a classic one if not for the tip. 9500 to 8500 years old. The material looks to be Coastal Plain Chert.
The top one looks to be an Eva point but I’m not as familiar with that type as I am on the Bolens.

jawbone there have been some adjustments to the Bolen general category but still in the right frame. Those are about 5500-3500 years. Both are general AP knives but the one on the bottom is called "Bolen" as a large category. It started as a knife then became a drill, that one is at the beginning stages of its drill work. The larger one though is a "weapon" grade knife/spear tip. Those have been found in deer, bear, and human bones. I found one very similar stuck in two human thoracic vertebrae, It was keeping the two verts together because it stabbed through both bones at the same time. That one was clearly a fatal wound considering it was stabbed through the guy from the front. That particular instance is what close in your face short-spear combat injuries look like. So its possible that one may have seen some action.

Just to ramble on this a little bit. I did a simple experiment with a Bolen point very similar to that one. I put one of those, an actual one, on a bow-drill and drilled through a 8-inch green white oak log with it. For the tool that it was, the process was surprisingly easy and as natural as working my Dewalt drill. It was slower, but it did not take more than a few minutes. It drilled a perfect dime size hole you could run a lag bolt through.

Now drill through stone for the gorgets, bannerstones, etc with a twig dipped in bear fat and then sand or however else they managed that. Had to be a slow process but then it wasn’t like they had tv and other distractions to occupy their time. Their time was occupied with trying to stay alive I guess.

My son added more to the collection yesterday From the drill in the center to the right, that looks like the same Archaic stuff I find at my dad's place. I bet it is a high and dry sandy spot next to a creek aint it?

Thats a pretty good middle archaic site. I bet you got stone slab burials under that stuff.

The dead are typically buried under houses, and kitchens and trash dump spots. That is where we find most of them.
