In Canada it averages $48 a can from taxes. That might possibly start a war in this country.

You gotta link to that? Google shows Copenhagen readily available from $6-10/can in Canada

I quit it but i ain't gonna call it nasty. I loved it and the smell of a fresh opened can. I quit almost 7yrs ago and still think a dip would be good.

I haven't dipped 2 cans in the last year. Wish that I had a dip right now. Wanting a dip they say will never go away. It's different that cigs... they say once you quit those you can't stand them.. but you will always want a dip.

$.75 a can when I started in '86. $7.00 a can when I quit (again) earlier this year. Quit for about 8 years and took it back up when I started deer hunting, again...never dipped while duck hunting, but wanted one bad when sitting in a deer stand. Got one and then another and another...before long Khalid was running through my head on replay "and another one". A year went by of a roll a week and one day it just didn't sit right...flavor was different and juice wasn't satisfactory. When I was on the Cope wagon, I used to say "I could put a whole can in my lips (upper and lower) and if I threw up from the buzz I'd be happy as a lark!" Not any more....Covid changed my taste, maybe?

Ten years ago I was in Sask to hunt and we stopped at a store. I figured I'd get a roll of 10 cans for the week.
Clerk rang up everything and the Cope was $27 a can. I put five of them back.
Have finally quit. Costs about $5 a can now. Better things to spend my money on and help improve my health. Wish I'd never started that chit.
