Just watched a video by that Lee and Tiffany and they’re using a pelletized turkey manure pellet. Ha anyone in Alabama started a chicken manure pellet business? Anybody familiar with this?

In the past I have gone to places that had chicken coops and cleaned them out and used material in my garden. It worked great! Didn't have to use much if any fertilizer

I was thinking that it would be great for food plots. No way to get a big spreader to most of my and being able to use in a 3 point spreader would be awesome.

We got some out a place in Maplesville couple years ago. I took the leftover to Pickens. I thought it did great . I’d have to go back and try remember name of place

How would you find out the amount needed for a deer plot?

There’s some places around my property that will deliver it for you and spread it. My neighbor used it last year and had some fine looking food plots

Think of it kinda like lime. You gotta use more of it so it’s not really cheaper but it works great. Anything up to a ton per acre will work good. I would not put more than that and of course you can get by with way less than a ton per acre.

Always used Cow manure from Dad's feed lot in my Garden. Cant get much to grow the last few years. Finally figured out if the pasture was sprayed with Grazon, DO NOT put it where you want veggies to grow.

Aminopyralid found in Grazon Next. It’s also been associated with problems in raised beds and others that used the Black Kow and other bagged soil.

"Cull" is just another four letter word...

There was a company in Fruitdale called Mighty Grow that produced chicken litter pellets. I think they may have went out of business not sure.
