Well technically the shot maker works just fine. The only problem was the coolant. The type of coolant you use is key to the quality of the shot. Unless you have the right coolant that works with your alloy, at the temperature you are at, there are factors unique to each shotmaker that you have to dial in on what works for you. I ran a boat load of alloy and played with the temperature and still came out with poor shot quality due to the coolant I was using. So I switched to a inexpensive fabric softener from Walmart called final touch. Upon my next run my shot was next to perfect. My only change was the coolant. This morning I got down to weighing the shot and bagging it up. Next task is to tumble the shot in graphite. Good looking shot and 52 pounds of #7.5
