I hope it brings more rain to places that didn’t get it from Francine. There’s still parts of central and NE AL dry dry dry. Unfortunately, that would mean widespread destruction and no power for us down here on the coast. I personally hope N AL gets rain some other way. Unfortunately, that’s part of the game when you chose to live near the GOM/Atlantic. FYI, I have and still own a condo in OB so I understand the sentiment. Yeah I certainly don’t wish any harm to life or property on the coast, but it’s often times these tropical systems that bring the only rain this way for two months in late summer and fall. If we don’t get remnant tropical storms we often go without. I lived 18 miles from the coast for a few years and I left. I wouldn’t have anything down there with the risks involved in these storms every summer. It would drive me crazy.
