So $1500/yr for an average of 400 ac/person.........is that the norm these days? Freaking turkey hunting is becoming the new duck hunting.

When I was a young man nobody turkey hunted! You had to order calls out of a catalog and it was a real rarity to EVER run into another turkey hunter, I mean it was almost unheard of. Freaking birds were everywhere and you may not have killed one every time you went, but you were in the game every single time you stepped in the woods. It was a beautiful thing.

I experienced this in the late 90's. Seems like everyone is a turkey hunter or a turkey caller.
