Naw, he literally meant the cheap ass Tupperware stocked Ruger American will outshoot the Hawkeye M77 seven days a week and twice on Sundays. It doesn’t make good sense.
This is exactly what I meant. I’ve never owned an American because I prefer nice fit, finish, stocks, etc. I played around with enough of them to know that most of them shoot pretty dang good. I’ve had my fair share of 77s, some shot good, some shot awful.
