Have track of land we burnt Saturday and with all this rain had me thinking about topseeding a spot with fall mix.
Any thoughts?

I would if its been burned, should get good soil contact. Cheapest way out is buy a couple bags of Wheat and a bag of oats. Mix them 2-1 and throw it. I almost guarantee it will come up. I spilled some in my gravel and its already up. You can also come back with clover of your choice and top sow

Its not the will to win but the will to prepare to win!

It’ll work, but I don’t burn my plots unless I’m gonna disc them. It works better for me to top sow in standing, green material and bushhogging after spreading the seed and fertilizer.

I’d top sow my oats before and wheat after if the fields are big and bust some dove

Burned a few small plots last year. Hand seeded with clover after the burn and let the rain beat the seed into the ground. Simple but effective. Turned out amazing.
