They are in cahoots with the democrats, I predict Hairass to come in and pretend negotiate a deal. October 1st.

Most of y’all are too young to remember the PATCO strike. What did Reagan do? He fired all 12000.

I understand the guy has a fiduciary duty to the union, but telling the American people you're gonna intentionally cripple the economy while wearing a bunch of gold jewelry isn't the best look for the unions. https://x.com/EndWokeness/status/1840978352997306404He's openly said that he is willing to shutdown the entire US economy. Well that is the definition of domestic terrorism. Knowingly and intentionally tanking the US economy and causing hardship for a couple hundred million US citizens, for your personal benefit, could be construed as a treasonous act. That's definitely a clear and present danger to the US. Maybe they stretch this guy's neck just a little bit and see if he wants to reconsider his position. If he doesnt, just lengthen the fall by a couple feet and the world is a better place.

75% of what we produce here at the mill goes to the east coast for export ... it's going to get ugly for us before it gets better.
I read this morning that it's pretty much all about automation in the workplace. The Union already rejected a 50% pay increase and tripling 401k participation, also with better healthcare benefits. Anyone on this thread read the same story?
Almost all foreign ports are highly automated and operate much more efficiently than US ports. Union wants a 77% pay increase, Tripling the payments into their retirement accounts, and fully paid healthcare benefits, as well as a pledge that zero automation will be instituted at any of the ports during the 6 yr contract. Frack that idiot. Bust the union just like Reagan did the air traffic controllers that thought they had the US by the balls and take away all their jobs. You can train a monkey to run a crane or forklift. Biden can stop this with a stroke of the pen. Taft Hartley Act gives him the authority to force them to work for 90 days during negotiations. The Biden administration is refusing to use this tool.

Let em strike! The less rosey things are between now and the election, the less likely folks are to vote for more of the same.
You're only as good as your worst shot-

That kind of thing can happen when a country is stoopid enough to outsource a vital commodity. I have one drug ai really hope stays available because it will suck if it is not. Viagra?🤣
