Anybody been on Uchee unit 11? Buddy got drawn for the 01/16 gun hunt. From the maps it looks like there's a lot of good terrain to work with. Gonna hit the scout day and do some boots on the ground scouting but wanted to also check to see if anyone else had been in there.

I tracked a deer for guy out there last year......It had all just been heavily thinned......Should be prime this year

I have hunted it in the past and I have it for the 1-30 hunt. I will be there for the scouting day as well. We can meet and talk then at the check station. I think they have done some cutting in there since I hunted it 4 years ago.

I hunted up against the boundary between unit 12 &11 last season from the unit 12 side. Saw a pile of deer but no big bucks. I mainly hunted on the western side.

Anyone have the email address for the Uchee biologist? I got drawn for the 1-16 gun hunt, accepted the selection, but haven't received an email assigning a unit or letting me know when the scouting days are.
