jallencrockett 8 point J Joined: Nov 2011 Posts: 2,286	So Drew do you really comback after 8 hours or 24 hours for true saturation. I have not done a perc test in years. I was the only person I knew of who was truly saturating the perc hole. Just wondering if times have changed???

Back before the Unified system was adopted into ADPH rules, I knew one engineer who had a 55 gallon drum of water with a homemade check valve arrangement. He adjusted the water level in the hole and left it over night. As the water level dropped, the float would fall and water was added. When he came back the next day it was saturated and ready to start taking measurements. Much better than the other guy who assigned 7-9 minutes per inch on everything. "Cull" is just another four letter word...
