Me neither. I’m trying to work up a load for a Accubond 140 grain in 270 win. Nosler says IMR 4831 is the most accurate load. I have two test loads in IMR 4350 and H4831sc. I’m planning to test both loads next week!

Shooters Warehouse (Cullman) had 4831SC a while back.

I've always found H4831 slower burning than IMR4831. I'll point out Accurates 3100 is their version of 4831 and WIN760 is comparable if you need alternatives.

I know you know this but never substitute load data between H4831 and IMR4831.

You're right. Checked the burn rate chart and the Hodgdon powders are slower than IMR. I don't use any of them but its good info to know. Thanks.

I found some load data for AA4350. I’ll test it if the other two don’t work out.

Snuffy, for what it's worth, I have had better accuracy and velocity with a full charge ofH4831 SC in every 270 I have owned (5 at last count). I use CCI standard primers. Briing your credit card, the danged stuff is expensive but what isn't??

The H4831SC shoots plenty good enough. The Nosler data called for Fed 210 primers. I have some CCI primers if you think it would make for a tighter group. My current load is 58.0 grains of H4831SC 140 grain Accubond with Fed 210 primers 3000 fps.
