Me neither. I’m trying to work up a load for a Accubond 140 grain in 270 win. Nosler says IMR 4831 is the most accurate load. I have two test loads in IMR 4350 and H4831sc. I’m planning to test both loads next week!

Shooters Warehouse (Cullman) had 4831SC a while back. NOT the same as IMR 4831.

I've always found H4831 slower burning than IMR4831. I'll point out Accurates 3100 is their version of 4831 and WIN760 is comparable if you need alternatives.

Shooters Warehouse (Cullman) had 4831SC a while back. NOT the same as IMR 4831. You're right. Checked the burn rate chart and the Hodgdon powders are slower than IMR. I don't use any of them but its good info to know. Thanks.

I found some load data for AA4350. I’ll test it if the other two don’t work out.

Snuffy, for what it's worth, I have had better accuracy and velocity with a full charge ofH4831 SC in every 270 I have owned (5 at last count). I use CCI standard primers. Briing your credit card, the danged stuff is expensive but what isn't??

Briing your credit card, the danged stuff is expensive but what isn't?? The H4831SC shoots plenty good enough. The Nosler data called for Fed 210 primers. I have some CCI primers if you think it would make for a tighter group. My current load is 58.0 grains of H4831SC 140 grain Accubond with Fed 210 primers 3000 fps.
