If you have a minute we would appreciate it if you could say a prayer for my special needs daughter. We have been at children’s since Monday. Susannah (Susie) has a rare genetic disorder that requires a lot of support, but she has been diagnosed with fungal meningitis. It started in her central line and moved to her blood stream. They placed her on a vent last night for support while they done surgery to remove her contaminated central line and she has been on the vent since . She is chewing through platelets right now, but is stable. Her vitals are good but she has barely been awake since Monday. MRI showed some signs of it in the lining of her brain but the ID doctor said that’s not for certain. She needs a spinal tap to confirm but her platelet count has been to low so they haven’t done one. Been a rough few days but she has responded some today with hand squeezes and trying to get out of the bed but has barely opened her eyes. I know there are a lot of good men and women on here, I have been holding off on posting as there is so much going on in this old world right now but she could use your prayers.

Thank you guys, been a rough night just had to go up on her vent hopefully it’s temporary but will take a little while to see.
