He does to call the plays. Alabama only ran the ball on back to back plays 5 times vs Vanderbilt. Once was the first 2 plays. Two of the others were for short touchdowns. J&J had 11 carries total for the game.
We have some amazing big play makers; but Bama has as good a tandem of running backs as anybody and an excellent O-line; they need to use them more.


I agree totally. You run an offense with 2 running backs in the game at all times you should be running the ball more. I will say this is the first year the OC has called plays under Deboer from what I understand.

Davy I don’t think a quick hitting offense is a bad thing. The defense gets off the field in 3-6 plays and you go score again. And honestly, there aren’t many plays called in college football nowadays that aren’t designed to score if they are executed correctly.
