Whitts Deer Processing in Athens. 4 or 5 miles east of Elk river off 72. I’ve dropped off 10 to 15 deer there in the past several years. No complaints.

With Lauderdale and Colbert being in the CWD zone, I don't think you are supposed to carry deer outside of those counties for processing. I have had good luck with North Alabama Deer Shack in Elgin. 256-366-6157, owner's name is Chuck Sennett.
He never promised that the cross would not get heavy & the hill would not be hard to climb.

I’ve used the Deer Shack do a good job. I really like their deer burgers.

We’re is deer shack at cartervj Elgin crossroads. Go north a hundred or so yards and it’s on the left behind some business. You can see it from the intersection looking north. He gave me several samples of his specialties. All were good. Burger patties were and are my favorite. Thaw, grill and eat, didn’t get much better. I like the jalapeños/cheese patties.
