Anyone going this weekend? Going to try to shoot some does I think. They are cutting timber on our lease so it should be interesting.

I’m gonna be on doe duty Saturday.

I have been dealing with pneumonia that I got from my son. We are both getting better and I plan on starting to hunt later in the week and leaving for central MO to hunt 4 days next week. Hope to at least get on board soon. May shoot a small one first because I need some meat.

Not sure how much help I am going to be. I am about to wrap up my 4th day (and last) in Central Missouri in a couple hours. I have yet to see a deer. My buddy I am hunting with has seen 3. Good amount of sign but no deer. The only thing making me feel better is I am not getting much activity on my cameras at home.

We have been hunting together the 1st week of November for 20+ years. We can't remember in all those years ever not seeing deer. In the past only seeing 3 or 4 a day was bad, but never 3 deer in 4 days.

Heck yeah PWYSE! Nice one. I got us an 8pt in Illinois yesterday.

Guys I’ve been trying to kill some does but I can’t get it done. It’s bad when you can’t even kill a few does.

I would like a big horsey doe. But, all I see are little ones. I've seen a couple of nice racked bucks but they were not the right age. Good thing is I have multiple shooters, but I am going to need to hunt more. May shoot a meat buck or two but the ones that keep coming by are too young.

So, I feel your pain.

Getting about time for me to start takin off work..some of my work load is shifting and im hopeful that im about to have some days freed up…

Dont come to Bankhead. I saw once spike last weekend. No sign anywhere, our deer are gone all over the forest. I will hunt it next week while Im off. If I dont do any good Im headed to a lease we got in Sam Murphy WMA
