Set up on a travel corridor next to thick bedding area on one side and a mixed white and water oak flat on the side of me. There's at least one deer in the area, several hundred yards in front of me blowing at something. I'm hoping she pushes some deer my way. It's upwind from me in an area I haven't been near, so no clue what's got her so disturbed. Good luck and stay safe. I wished had not been betting on acorns have not even been is this area but it has been good over the last few years

Field was already full of deer. I eased back to the house. I'm taking off tomorrow to hunt. So didn't want to risk blowing them out of the field tonight

Afternoon hunts aren’t in the cards for me right now due to my dad being pretty sick. It’s really just a day to day roller coaster ride with him right now. I needed that hour and a half sit this morning. “Killing tomorrow’s trophies today.” On the distance I like to walk to my stands: “The first 100 yards is also the last 100 yards.”
