Huntsville traffic is based on about a 15 minute window. If you’re driving through Huntsville at 7am headed to work, you’re fine. If you’re driving through at 715, every one from 4 counties around will be on the road.
I can leave my house at 7am and be at work on redstone in about 30 minutes (22 miles to work). If I leave at 715 or later then it’s a solid hour to include nightmare gate traffic.
The afternoons suck, unless you work until 6. Coming from the east down 72 for the first appointment at the Dr. and thinking you'll jog over to 431 and beat the traffic doesn't work out either. I learned the hard way.
"Why do you ask"?
