On the edge of a field watching the field and woods. Couple of small does so far

Checking in from a swamp thicket in south Baldwin. Only a lucky coyote so far. Had to go to plan B since the loggers moved in and cut the spot I planned on hunting. Good luck everybody hoping one of the bucks I’ve had on camera slips up this morning.

Hopefully 3rd times a charm, in an oak about 60 yds from a cutover surrounded by oaks dropping acorns.

Back in the area from yesterday, one doe so far. Nothing this morning.

First sit of the season for me. Set up on a hot white oak that’s just off the corner of a food plot.

Nothing this morning, almost got a shot at a coyote walking in this afternoon but he saw me before I could get a shot off.

Had a coyote come by right after I got set up but he got past me before I could swap to my varmint arrow. Just had two does feed by, would’ve shot the bigger one but she stayed out of range, and there’s a good looking young buck out in the plot.

Only saw tree rats today.

Had to call a good tracker and he had no trouble finding her!

Ended up seeing 5 bucks, 6-7 does, and 2 coyotes. One of the bucks was a dang good un too. May try to move spots tomorrow to be closer to where he came out.
