I expect this "union" of two outdoor brands to completely destroy the image and performance of Mack's, just like it did Cabelas. There will be nothing but RedHead products wall-to-wall.

Bright spot, I guess, will be that you can shoot at the arcade when the ducks don't migrate far enough south.

They’ve been in trouble for years. They make money during duck season and lose money the rest of the year. I’m sure the Banded wader fiasco didn’t help

Y'all get a sales magazine last year? Final Flight sales catalog was close to Mack’s this year.

The original Mack’s was a cool hole in the wall place, never been to the new one.

Still not as bad as when Gander Mountain went under. That along with Cabela's getting bought by the private equity firm really changed the quality of store branded gear.

Well crap that sucks. I really like Mack’s clothing, jackets and what not. Just like I liked Cabela’s clothing before bass pro ruined it. They will ruin Mack’s as well.

That sucks. Mack's has/had some good quality products but now it will be all that chitty Redhead gear.

I haven't ordered from them in a while but I too hate to see BassPro suck up another one. Oh well...

That stinks especially after BPS destroyed Cabelas and the good gear they had. Lifetime socks. Man I hate to read this. Gander use to be good back years ago. Failed twice.
