I put the bucket a few feet above my head (not touching the tree) to do the notching. Move the tractor and cut away. And you live to tell about it

Thanks for the advice guys. Moving the blind is harder than you think. It ain’t heavy but it’s high.
The main thing I was worried about was the dead limbs falling off when I notch it. I didn’t know if there was a technique to use to avoid that risk.
I’m gonna put a rope up high with a fishing pole cast, notch it, and pull it over with the tractor. Dont put the rope high. Put it low and pull it slow. But what do i know, ive only cut a couple thousand of them. Limbs are not likely to fall off. Its possible but not likely. The bottom of the tree still has good wood in it. The top is rot, youll see that when it hits the ground. The real danger is the top breaking out, that happens when the tree moves fast. If youre pushing the tree with the tractor bucket, whoever is cutting is standing under the bucket. When its time to push the tree over, the cutter walks away first. Then the tractor eases the tree over. Low like 20’ or low like 6’?

If you can afford a Redneck Blind and a John Deere cab tractor, you can afford to pay someone else to cut it down for you.

If the tree had a heavy top and lean, you would definately need the rope as high as possible. Thats for leverage. Your pine will not require much leverage to get it over. The good wood is at the bottom, it wont break. The top is rotten, it could break as youre pulling it.

That tree reminded me of a tree I climbed one morning next to an old food plot. It was pitch dark and about an before daylight. Daylight came and I looked up and the tree was dead. Lot went through my mind as you can imagine. I'm guessing you came down a lot slower than you went up! Also guessing the tree made more noise on the decent.

Move blind and set it on fire and of coarse get back. If you do everything perfect that tree is liable to break anywhere up trunk and fall any direction.

I've got a different view from everyone else, I wouldn't worry about it. The tree seems to be deteriorating in a normal manner. The needles and smaller limbs fell off long ago, and now the bigger limbs are falling off. The sap is long gone and much of the weight is out of it. What will probably happen is the rest of the limbs will fall off and drop straight down and then the top will break out, and all of that will just drop straight down and won't bother the blind. At some point what's left of the trunk will break and fall, but that will likely take years.
The tree was a bigger danger to the blind when it was alive than it is now. I have a couple of similar sizes pines in my front yard that died about 5 years ago. Not much left to them, but the trunks are still standing. Woodpeckers love them.
The time to cut the tree was as soon as the needles died. If you cut it now , there will be some danger involved, especially since you have no experience with dead trees. I'd leave it alone and let it fall naturally, one piece at a time.

If its at all "iffy" then I think it would be worth taking the time to move the blind first......It would suck to end up crushing it

PCP for the win. I’d let nature take its course. But if you cut it, follow what jwalker suggested. He knows a little bit about cutting trees.
