Finally had a chance to test the new tipped Hammer Hunter bullets at distance and they didn’t disappoint. Exact same load in two different rifles shoots sub 0.5 MOA @ 100 yards. Tikka T3 6CM Rem 700 6CM 22” Barrel. 22” Barrel 3255 fps 3192 fps Zero’d both rifles on a previous day @ 100 yards. Rounded the BC on the box down to the nearest hundred, plugged the info for each rifle into a ballistic app and shot a 2-shot group with each rifle at 492 yards. Each group includes a cold bore shot for the day. I think they are both close enough to kill pine goats 😁. Zero’d 1.5” high at 100, it’s only 4” low at 300 yards. Also have the 57gr HHT running 3350 in a 22” Tikka 223 that I’m looking forwarding to seeing how dead it kills deer.
You're only as good as your worst shot-

Very nice. Should get the job done. I’ve been researching the Hammer bullets. I see that Weatherby loads Hammer bullets in some of their factory loads.

I was able to get just under 3900 fps with the 90 gr Absolute Hammer in my 257 Weatherby and @ 3/4 MOA. Only load work was just testing increasing powder changes to get the desired velocity. Didn't try different seating depths because I only had two trips to the range in the last week and I'm traveling to Texas for a hunt that starts Monday. Easy peasy and I hope to find out how they perform on game. I will tinker with the load a little more when I have time.

Those loads are very impressive
