Jacksonville Christian won the ACAA Football Championship last night.
They defeated Russell Christian Academy from Meridian Mississippi 36-27
Russell had won the previous 7 Championships so it was a big deal to knock them off.
Travelled over to Cottondale to watch the game at Tuscaloosa Christian Academy.
Proud of the team and of course my son. He's a starter as freshman and has had a great year.

Wow. Never heard of it. Is the AISA still around or did they change to the ACAA?

AISA is still around
ACAA is just another conference. We played another 8 man team in a different league in exhibition game and they wore us out. We only have about 25 players total and that other team was rotating in lines whereas we have many that have to play both ways.

So it’s 8 man football? If so I bet that is a lot of fun. Play on a regulation size field?

Yep, regulation field. It's a lot more exciting that I had anticipated. Some very good athletes in the conference too.
Our teams QB already has several D1 offers.

That’s awesome man. Lots of space to work in huh? So you play with 4 on the line and 4 in the backfield or 5/3?

It varies
Offense runs 2 wide and 3 backs

Sometimes it 5/3 3/3 man on defense
It's common that most teams have an athletic QB and they'll spy him.
