It’s site specific CNC. I only recommend whatever doe harvest is needed to accomplish landowner objectives. There’s not one answer to every situation. I do know the properties I’m managing are some of the best places to hunt and have a quality experience. Also, the majority of habitat in AL is not in good condition. It’s awful as a matter of fact. There’s a lot of places I visit that aren’t reaching the populations potential because they’re being held back by poor timber and habitat management.

My cams are showing almost equal numbers of does and bucks at the moment, assuming I don't have multiple does, yearlings, and fawns family groups that are taking turns visiting the sites at similar times on different days.

You’re also relying on ppl equally entering does and bucks in GC. I am tell you with certainty, they are not.

Yeah, the ratios are likely a little worse than what's being shown.........

I will say, even though we have good habitat, the doe population is not BOOMING. But our ratios and hunting experiences have been great the last several years. I hunt about 5-6 dif areas and each one has just about an equal amount of bucks and does from what I’m seeing. All my areas are within 5-6 miles, pretty close. My local competition keeps most of the does in check. We shoot about 3 a year between 5 of us for the freezer and usually 1-2 bucks a piece. I’m very picky about where and when I shoot a doe.

I got pictures and videos thru my spotting scope if you want to see him

We will burn that bridge when we get there

Sure, just PM me on here. He may get crazy around Christmas and head down the creek a few miles and show up on my camera.
