Drift a croaker across Dixie bar and hold on. 4-5” long on a Carolina rig. I’ve never not caught them there this time of year. You can also trip a crank bait down the bar. Get one that runs right at the bottom.

We usually go at the end of October and catch them good. This is just later than we normally go

We just fish from the beach. I've got two bassboats but they aren't going in the salt

I've caught them off the beach on big spoons this time of year

Used to go every year in October and fresh mullet worked pretty well, though I heard some people were using pretty much any dead fish that had washed up on the beach and were having good luck.
