Unfortunately he was killed by someone about a mile south of our place when he was just the little 8pt. Our neighbor knows the guy who shot him and had a picture of him laying on the ground. We figured if he wondered to far he’d get shot.

Buddy of mine has one on a place he manages, he wandered up as a fawn last year and hung out at their camp. Would come inside and will take you down for an Oreo. He's back this year and just has nubs, he was obviously a late born fawn and the doe was probably shot on a different property. Before anyone screams about a captive deer, he is 100% free range he just likes to hang out near or around their camp. Crazy thing is there are older bucks that will come out to the feeder in the yard when his diesel truck drives up.

They would be good sandwiches tho
