Looking specifically at these three. Any insight or opinions are appreciated!

Meopta-Optika6-4.5-27x50-BDC-3-Illuminated-SFP

Vortex Viper PST Gen II 5-25x50 EBR-4 MOA Scope PST

The vortex is not in same classification to others at all.

Not sure what your what your trying to achieve but with those magnifications your gonna want moa or mil Christmas tree style reticles to go with your target style turrets and illuminated to make it make sense.

Basically if going for mrad mils you'll want.5 mil or .2 actually hash marks not bdc style crap.avoid hunting style reticles and get mil or moa hash marks style reticles .that meopta bdc is opposite of what you want

Get the Christmas tree style reticles and illuminated not bdc style.no sense in having that much magnification with bdc or standard crosshairs

If you are doing a long range target or hunting setup like your scope list seems to indicate, first focal plane would likely be more useful.

Do yourself a favor and buy a Maven RS1.2 2.5-15x44 or a SWFA 10x42.

Christmas trees belong in the woods or your house, definitely, not in scopes.

Yeah I’m open to other suggestions. But need to be in the ?-25x50 and $800. However I would appreciate inflight on the ones listed, reticle can be changed, that was just pre-selected.

I second the Maven RS 1.2. I’m the owner of two of them.

Those are target rifle scopes. Not good hunting scopes IMO

What is the rifle and what are you doing with this.... Deer hunting?

Can anyone give a good answer to this question without a little more info?.... No, they can't.

C'mon guys....

Easy answer is yes. Three comparable scopes, what is best.

None of them? I'd go with the Zeiss but know better than to hunt with scope with 6x base magnification....

Bad thing the Zeiss v4 models are only sfp I believe.thats alot if magnification for hunting and sfp imo.

The reticles available for the meopta in 4.5 -27 are terrible.the mrad in the 5-30x is fine though

I prefer sfp for hunting but after 15x or maybe 18x I want ffp .unless it's a dedicated target scope for f class type shooting at always known distances then sfp is better .finer reticle

If you like vortex the strike eagle 5-25 has a better track record than pst gen2 and better reticles than others mentioned .

If you want something better than everything mentioned midway has athlon 4.5-30 ares etr for $747 .great deal on a $1200 scope.
It blows away everything mentioned.check out reviews you won't find a bad one and ffp with good reticle and it's not a huge heavy scope compared to some.vortex razr and nightforce nxs killers for sure

You better run to the classifieds and buy one of the Bushnell LRHSi's that BCLC has listed. Those are rock solid and good glass. A world better for dialing than any of the 3 you have listed. Plus its got the best hunting reticle I've ever found for a FFP scope. The doughnut of death is for real. Theres a reason those scopes have an almost cult like following in the long range hunting community

Never ask for scope opinions without stating intended use.

I've owned a PST Gen II. It was very accurate but the glass clarity was just OK. I've had a few Zeiss Conquest. Glass was much better than the PST II, but just wasn't great for long range paper punching due to the larger scale/thickness reticle. Latest long range toy is a Steiner T6 and have fell in love with it. Got it last December and put it on a Bergara B14 Ridge SP 18". Haven't shot it much due to a family tragedy last January and I took time off from a lot of the things I love looking for a "reset". Anyway, the Steiner is a good bit more new than what you're looking at, but don't hesitate to see if you can find a used one. The glass clarity is better than literally anything I've looked through, and I've probably held 1000 scopes if I've held 1.
