The problem is knowing the law in each state. We need a uniform set of laws. We have it already. It's called the US Constitution 2nd Amendment that declares "The right of the people to keep and bear arms shall not be infringed". What we need is to enforce oaths of office when people are delegated political power on their sworn oath to support our Constitution.
