Looks like it germinated pretty good. Hope we don’t get to much rain from this storm and ruin it.

Hopefully they won't drown this week.

Turned off very dry here the last month or so. I had to lay out the drip tape and keep the corn wet. Here’s a little update on my little fall patch.

We just started getting rain this week. I had to put drip tape and water it every other day.

I started doing that, with my winter garden, it has made a HUGE difference! ( drip tape). If I would have had it on my summer sweet corn would have been a bumper crop, but we made enough to make it till next year any way. Really enjoy seeing you stuff, please keep posting!

It’s filled out way better then I thought it would. The ears are a touch smaller then usual but I expected that with the heat and lack of rain early. I’m very satisfied. I’ll get all I need and will have a ton to give to friends and family.

That’s some fine looking corn!

Cleaned up another good mess today and got all cut off the cobs. Gonna clean another batch tomorrow while I’m cooking down the corn from today. Should give me plenty till the spring.
