It all depends on how much you want to sink into them and what you want to do with them. The doghouse blinds are alright for what they are and while they are easy to tote and set up they are made of flimsy materials that will tear easily. They are not made to leave out in the woods for long periods of time and will deteriorate rapidly. If you are looking for something cheap to tote in and out with you the doghouse is your huckleberry. The Tidwe hub blinds are a bit roomier but also heavier and a little bit tougher to set up. They are made more to leave out in the woods but some of the cheaper ones are built out of flimsy materials that will tear easily.
The absolute best are the Double Bulls from Primos. They are made out of heavy duty materials and don't have any loud zippers or velcro. They will last forever if you take care of them and are warrantied forever. The cons are that they are heavy and cumbersome, but they are the kind you set up in the preseason and forget about until season goes out. The other con is the price point.... they are crazy expensive. I don't hunt out of them but I have them for my wife and sometimes I use them when I take a kid hunting, but I wouldn't pay nearly $400 for a blind. I have two of the Double Bull 360's and I paid exactly $100 for each of them. If you start searching Craigslist and Facebook Market Place you can find deals on them. I found one that some ladies son decided he was going to hunt and she bought him a bunch of equipment and he didn't follow through. So she sold me his DB blind for $100. I found two additional ones close to Lake Guntersville. This guys club had a huge youth hunt and Primos donated them a bunch of blinds for the cause. When I met the guy he still had two left still brand new in the box. I bought both of them for $100 a piece but wound up letting a buddy have one of them.
