Wish I knew. I leave Friday to hunt the rifle opener for four days.

Have a buddy on the LBL now, said by the weekend he thinks it will be wide open!

Just got back today and the bucks are cruising a little but the heat has them jacked up right now. I had a 8 sacrifice himself Sunday afternoon not the deer I hoped to kill. Hunting is tough with minimal movement but another guy killed a ok 8 and I saw a nice deer at 2:30 Sunday. My buddy hunting private had a mature 9 come out chasing does Saturday afternoon and I saw him after dark chasing does. But it’s not great hunting right yet.

I’ll be in hart county Saturday and usually opening day of rifle is wide open but weather is warm but still have a good shot! Cools off next week too

I talked to a guy up there this morning, he is in far western KY. Said the rut had been hit or miss all weekend, not wide open.

Hit and miss for us too in west central.

Im here in Hopkins County. Spotty at best.

Watched a three year old tend a hot doe in the same area for two days. Seems most bucks are locked down with does where we are and little bucks are searching.

Last weekend they were starting to get in the swing of things west end of Kentucky
