Answers the age-old question "Has a cat got a climbing gear?" definitively.
Used to be a lifeguard, until that blue kid got me fired.

Years ago I get in my climber wayyyy before dawn. I liked getting there so everything would settle down after my walk in. Really dark night and after I get setup I hear this scratching, then it stops and starts. Then it stopped.
I was about 30 feet up in a pine and when the sun came up I realized what I had heard was a really big bobcat climbing the tree next to me. He was about the same height as me and only about 6-7 feet away. He was layed out on a limb sleeping. All I could think was what would I have done if (in complete darkness) he had climbed my tree. I was remined of the Jerry Clower bit: “Shoot up here amongst us, because one of us needs some relief!”
I love my country, but don't trust my government.

I saw one with a kitten/cub? yesterday afternoon slipping across a ridge. First time seeing a little one like that. Thought it was a coon until I saw the mama.

Had one walk within 5 feet of my blind yesterday at dark.
I was thinking I didn't know what I would do if he hopped up to peek in the window.

The ultimate hunter - bad to the bone
Saw one jump off limb onto a rabbit. Never saw it until he was in the air and then heard the ruckus then saw him w rabbit in mouth briefly
Hunt the wind - leave it better than you found it - love your neighbor as you love your self We need prayer for our country now more than ever

Had a trail cam pic of one walking with a swamper in its mouth...rabbit was dragging the ground. That was a big cat. Also watched one have a stare down with a little six point one evening. I lost both of them in the thick stuff so i don't know the outcome of that one.
The harder I practice, the luckier I get.

So video of a yote climbing a tree after one while back. Was hoping to see good show, but he backed off was little out of range lol.

20 plus years ago when the folks lived on Smith Lake me and my dad had to make a garbage run. Driving down a dirt road and my dad said someone s dog is lose. Bs that’s a big bobcat. Looked like it weighed 50 lbs.
